Update 01/16/2026: 5+ stars for Matthew Barnett. Problem originally happened a few months ago, heating system shutdown on freezing night. System began working before Dustin (last name ?) arrived. Dustin said a tech should be on site when problem occurs to better troubleshoot. Shutdown occurred twice more but just called to advise Mid Fla because system turned back on before I called. Did a pre-alert call on 1/14/26 in preparation of freezing night. Matthew Barnett arrived 1/16/26 and discovered thermostat was not wired correctly on install, had no aux heating. He corrected the wiring and thoroughly explained how system worked. JOB WELL DONE, MATTHEW!!! THANK YOU!!! 5 STARS+
Problems with A/C. Called Mid-Fla and they responded quickly. We’ve been using Mid-Fla 23 years. Mari White arrived and immediately knew by the sound the likely problem. After a thorough check of the system, he gave me a full and understandable diagnosis.
Update: The following day, Wesley Hart (Sales) scheduled an appt with us to discuss options of replacing the compressor or purchasing all new equipment. We decided to go with all new. Zero % financing a super big plus. The following day, Bobbie Reburn and Matthew Still arrived to remove the old and install the new. Complications arose but Robbie worked diligently to resolve all the issues. New unit worked great until 2 days ago. Called Mid-Fla and within 6 hrs, Shane Nase arrived and discovered problems with voltage regulator, and soon had the unit working again. Great response from everyone, and super great workmanship and knowledge from everyone!!!
