When mid Florida air took over the business from Hearth and Home, they had a bit of a rough start, but they have upped their game and we have been very happy with the service… Their prices are very reasonable, their technicians are top-notch, and they’re very prompt. Highly recommend without reservation. We have a service contract and they always call us right on time to set up a site visit. They are great at dispatching emergency service. Everyone I’ve met with has been competent and professional. Only feedback I’d give is make sure notes are read between order and service. Office could follow up after to make sure everything was good.

Michael did a good job servicing my system. He showed me the benefits of the UV light we had done over the last year since installation.

I am so glad I switched to Mid-Fla Air & Electric. They’ve been awesome and were again today. I called at 2:30 today about an issue I was having. It’s 5pm now and their tech, Charlie showed up, fixed the problem and I’m now sitting in a cool house. Charlie was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I couldn’t be more pleased!

Since I trust these techs have been well trained on the system I called them for this repair - AC stopped running…inside temp was up to 84 (since another company I called already spent 4 hours analyzing what they thought was the problem…and was going to order a new circuit board, again more time, I wasn’t confident in them so I declined letting them make the repair which they would have wanted $600 for). Ken arrived and had the system running in less than an hour. Without the need to order a new part! Already dropping to 79 in less than 30 minutes.(this is a post I intended to make 2 years ago and apparently didn’t enter it till now…Sept 5, 2025)… and I would like to add to this that I’ve actually been struggling to have this company fix the heat pump over the past year or more. They started to send techs who didn’t know how to identify or approach the problem. So they would order a new heat pump or part and it would arrive but I was told it was the wrong part, then it would get reordered and I would call and was told it arrived they lost it and will have to reorder, and then I was told someone has to come out and re analyze the problem because the notes were not clear and the new tech or salesperson couldn’t make sense of the notes. Ultimately, One of these texts or salesman decided they knew what part had to be ordered, and I was told it was on order, and then a month later I’d call up and ask why has no one called me that the part has come in and then the lady at the front would tell me they can’t find any parts. They’re gonna have to send somebody out again. And this has been going on for over a year. Now today, September 5, 2025 a tech named Tony R. came out and he has been the most knowledgeable about this Trane product than any of the people that have come out in the past. So I am confident for the first time that he will figure out what’s going on and ultimately get my air conditioner to also operate as a heat pump for the few cold days we have in Florida
